Visit the Bethany House

The monks of Saint Bede Abbey are pleased to announce a new option for hospitality at the monastery: Bethany House, a guest facility in what was formerly the boys boarding house, just west of the monastery.

Bethany House features a fully-equipped kitchen and dining area, plus a lounge, five bedrooms, two common bathrooms, and a laundry room. We are able to host up to eleven guests overnight. This simple but welcoming space could be used for individual and group retreats, families visiting the area, reunions, and anyone wanting to get away to a quiet and peaceful place. The dining and lounge areas are also available for group gatherings up to 25 people: for example, a working group that needs to brainstorm ideas outside of the office, a baby shower, or birthday party.
