Our Family News

Oblates are Catholics, though not exclusively so, who wish to grow closer to God through a Benedictine spirituality. The oblates attend meetings from September to May of the following year, usually the second Sunday of each month, to help them deepen their prayer life. To assist oblates who live outside of the locality and cannot attend meetings, or for those who were unable to attend due to prior obligations, the oblates publish a newsletter entitled Our Family News to help the oblate community stay connected with each other and with St. Bede Abbey.
